Tours and Travels

Here are a few of the tours that we can arrange for you.  For a more exhilarating experience, try one of our Outdoor Fun tours.

Battle of the Alamo Tour

1836 brought to a head the cries of the War Dogs of America as destiny demanded freedom for the Texians from the Mexican government. Begin your tour with an enlightening visit to the six-story tall IMAX movie theatre to view “The Price of Freedom” before walking the hallowed ALAMO grounds. See other sites associated with the famous battle.

Our World Heritage

Many nations had an impact on the cultural character that created the Texan mystique. Journey from today’s San Antonio to an earlier period and see how immigrants from around the world affected our heritage. Tour the Institute of Texan Cultures where Irish, Spanish, Italian, Afro-American, Japanese and other cultures represented. Visit the Buckhorn Hall of Horns and other sites.

The Missions and Our Spanish Legacy

Walk history’s corridors as we enter the world of New Spain. Tour two of the oldest missions in the U.S. - Mission San Jose and Concepcion, as well as the Spanish Governor's Palace.

Texas Hill Country

Visit Fredericksburg, a quaint town noted for its strong German heritage. This frontier town is brimming with over 100 unique shops, antique stores and quality restaurants. It is also home to the Admiral Nimitz State Museum. Consider adding a visit to the LBJ National Historical Site (ranch) or to a winery or even a stop in Luckenbach, a well-known watering hole in the road made famous by Waylon and Willie and the Boys!

Arts and Arbors

This relaxing tour visits sites whose surroundings are touched with the beauty of nature and the tranquility of man. San Antonio’s art culture sits proudly in structures of distinct charm; one is a former Mediterranean mansion housing twentieth-century art. Another was formerly a brewery, one of the first in the city, and is home to Pre-Columbian art, Greek and Roman antiquities as well as modern artists. Visit San Antonio’s Botanical Garden to see the art nature has created. Today – relax, learn, see and remember.
